Installation Manual for Embedded Solar Road Studs
When installing embedded solar road studs, selecting the right drill bit and installation glue is crucial. To help with this process, we’ll walk you through a general installation for one of our solar road stud models.
Product Specifications:
-
Top Diameter: 140mm
-
Bottom Diameter: 123mm
-
Recommended Drill Bit Diameter: 127mm
Tools and Materials Required:
-
Drilling Machine: Concrete core drilling machine.
-
Drill Bit: 127mm diameter.
-
AB Glue: 1:1 ratio (approximately 30-50 grams per stud).
-
Cleaning Tools: For cleaning and drying the drilled hole.
Installation Steps:
1. Drilling the Hole:
Use a concrete core drilling machine to create a hole with a 127mm diameter at the installation site.
Preparing the Hole:Clean the hole thoroughly to remove debris and ensure it is dry before proceeding.
2. Applying the Glue:
Mix the AB glue in a 1:1 ratio.
Apply approximately 30-50 grams of mixed glue evenly into the drilled hole.
3. Placing the Solar Road Stud:
Insert the solar road stud into the hole, ensuring the lighting lens faces the correct direction for maximum visibility.
4. Drying Time:
Allow the glue to set and dry for at least 4 hours. Avoid disturbing the area during this time.
5. Finalizing the Installation:
Once the glue has fully dried, the installation area can be opened to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Charging Recommendations:
-
Pres-Installation: If the solar road stud has lost power during transportation or storage, ensure it is charged under direct sunlight for 3-5 days before installation.
-
Post-Installation: Alternatively, after installation, allow 3-5 days for the solar road stud to fully charge before checking its functionality.
Additional Notes:
-
Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for tool and material usage.
-
For optimal durability, avoid installation during rain or high humidity.
By following these simple steps, you can ensure your embedded solar road studs are installed correctly, providing long-lasting, efficient lighting for enhanced road safety.
